Webb-Secure
is a Canadian company based in Red
Deer, Alberta, Canada. We are specialists that can exterminate and
remove, "Malware" from your computer and then secure your
computer from future hostile software attacks. Internet security is
our specialty.
"Malware"
or, more correctly, "malicious software" is a term which is
applied to cover the entire gamut of "hostile" software, like
Viruses, Trojan Horses and Worms. We at Webb-Secure, like the definition
provided by
F-Secure - and think of "Malware" as "Unwanted"
software on your computer, so we include Porn, Spam, Pop-ups, Spyware
and Adware in the one general term. We have the means to remove all
of that off your machine and stop it from getting in.
At
present, we employ one full time Virus Technician (John) and several
part-time sub-contractors (as required).
The
company was formed in April 2002, and is owned and operated by John
J. Webber, MMM, CD. DDE. After 33 years in the Canadian Military as
a Communications and Electronics specialist, including a couple of United
Nations Tours in Egypt and Israel, he finally turned in his military
uniform and (in 1987) went to work for a local computer company. Military
members, serving and retired, will recognize the significance of the
MMM
& CD.
After
honing his 8 year accumulation of virus and Internet security skills
for another 5 years, he set off on his own and now runs Webb-Secure
Virus & Internet Security. When you consider his lengthy (14 years)
experience and considerable expertise in the Virus, Spyware and general
computer security world, coupled with the fact that he just may be
the only recognized DDE in Central Alberta, then you know where the
highly recognized phrase of "WHO
YA GONNA CALL?" fits in.
